Booker-prize winning author Roddy Doyle returns to the pages of Metro Eireann this week to begin an exclusive new short story series. Doyle revealed to Metro Eireann: “The Painting is a fairytale set in suburban Dublin. It is about a shy man, a brash woman, the magic of art and the price of paint.” The series begins in this issue and will return each month, only in Metro Eireann.
