This week’s recipe is called palak paneer. I hope you enjoy it!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp onion puree
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 cup spinach, chopped and steamed
- 1 cup paneer
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Salt to taste
- Coriander to garnish
Method
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion puree, tomato puree and garlic paste. Let it cook for five minutes.
Next add the masala powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and spinach and cook till the gravy is ready (the oil will come out).
At this stage you can add the paneer and cream. Cook for five to 10 minutes. Then garnish with coriander and serve hot with naan bread or rice.
To make onion puree: Chop one onion and fry until it turns golden brown. Then puree the friend onion in a blender.
