Night of music a great start to Europe’s week against racism

THREE-FLOORS OF music in central Dublin will kick off European Week Against Racism in Ireland with a bang and a beat.

Love Music Hate Racism gets going at Le Cirk on Dublin’s Dame Street with live music and DJs from around the globe celebrating music and diversity.
The event gives musicians and music lovers the opportunity to come together and show their support for the European Week against Racism and Ireland’s Love Music Hate Racism campaign.
European Week Against Racism runs from 13-21 March, when thousands of people actively engage in activities to promote and celebrate equal rights and the diversity of countries in Europe.
The week centres around 21 March, declared by the UN as International Day for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and marking the tragedy of the murder of 69 anti-apartheid demonstrators in Sharpeville, South Africa in 1960.
Information on the week’s events and representatives from various groups working against racism in Ireland will be there on the night.
Entry is free but a recommended donation of €4 will support the work of the Love Music Hate Racism Campaign. The night begins at 9pm.
