Last update - Saturday, June 15, 2013, 10:00 By Metro Éireann

A woman who was recently reported missing from her home in Co Tipperary for over three years has been “found safe and well”, according to Gardaí.

Metro Éireann has learned Charity Ejoh was seen in Clonmel on Sunday 10 June following a nationwide Garda appeal to the public for assistance in locating the whereabouts of 47-year-old.

Gardaí declined to divulge the circumstances of her reappearance, and if Ejoh has been living in Ireland since 4 February 2010, the date she is said to have gone missing.

A Garda spokesperson told Metro Éireann: “There is no criminal investigation and she was not being held. She was reported missing to Gardaí in May 2013.”

The Nigerian-born woman, who is also known as Charity Nkechi and Nkechi Ryan, was described during the missing persons’ appeal as 5ft 7in in height, of average build, with black hair and brown eyes.
