The purpose of Metro Eireann Writing Award is to help immigrant writers in Ireland emerge.
The best three entries selected by Roddy Doyle, the sole judge, will receive total of 8,000 euros.
1st prize is 5,000 euro, 2nd and 3rd place prices are 2,000euro and 1,000 euro respectively.
Closing date for entry is June 29 2007. Winners will be announced end of September 2007.
