Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Ireland soccer legend Paul McGrath are inviting enthusiastic cyclists to join them in the The Big Red Bike Ride from Mizen Head to Malin Head from 9 June.
“I am really excited about cycling through the many towns and villages of Ireland on this route,” said Keith Duffy. “I am looking forward to meeting the locals and seeing our beautiful countryside from the saddle while at the same time raising much needed funds for charity.”
The journey will take the cyclists through some of Ireland’s most beautiful countryside and coastline covering Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway, Donegal and Derry, from the most southerly point to the most northerly point in Ireland.
All levels of cyclist will take on the challenge, covering 80 miles each day and at the same time helping to make a difference to the lives of children affected by autism in the UK and Ireland.
All funds raised from the challenge will go to Irish Autism Action and other autism charities, including the Manchester United Foundation and Hearts & Minds.
