Gardaí in appeal for missing teen mum

Last update - Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 13:30 By Metro Éireann

Gardaí in Dundalk are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old Romanian teenager who has gone missing with her two daughters.

Sixteen-year-old Cosmina Tersanschi was last seen on Emer Terrace in Dundalk at 9:20am on the morning of Saturday 21 April, wearing a black and grey jumper and long brown skirt.
She left her home with her two infant daughters – Rebecca, 2, and Rahella, 11 months – in a red double buggy (stacked, not side-by-side).
There are no details of what the children were wearing. Gardaí say the eldest daughter Rebecca would have light brown hair and brown eyes, and also has a bad turn in her right eye, sometimes requiring glasses.
Gardaí have urged anyone who may have seen Cosmina Tersanschi and her two daughters or has information that would assist in locating this young family to contact them in Dundalk at 042 938 8400, at the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or at any Garda station.
