Prisoners Dir: Denis Villeneuve

When the Dover and Birch families come together to celebrate Thanksgiving, their domestic bliss is soon shattered when their respective young daughters go missing, believed kidnapped.

Frustrated with what he thinks is inaction by the police, Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman) decides to take matters into his own hands, butting heads with the young but successful detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) as they try to find the girls and uncover the truth. Prisoners shows how far a desperate father will go to protect his family.

Directed by French Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, who won critical acclaim with 2010’s award winning Incendies, Prisoners in is cinemas now.
