This week’s recipe is chicken drumsticks with Indian flavours. You can shallow fry, barbecue or even grill them – a perfect treat for the summer! Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
- Handful of fresh coriander
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- Chilli powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp cornflour
- Salt to taste
Method
Take off the skin from the drumsticks. Take a fork and pierce the drumsticks a few times; this will allow the meat to get a nice flavour of the seasoning.
Mix all the other ingredients into a fine paste. Then marinate the chicken with the paste, leaving it in the fridge overnight
When ready to cook, simply grill or shallow fry the chicken till it is done.
