Charity world food fest in Dublin

Last update - Thursday, November 12, 2009, 14:17 By Metro Éireann

Over 40 embassies in Ireland are coming together to host a festive bazaar in Dublin. For the fourth year running, the International Charity Bazaar will be hosted in the D4 Hotel on Pembroke Road from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 15 November.

Raising funds for Irish charities, the annual event is organised by the diplomatic community in Ireland, with each embassy bringing gifts and culinary delights from their country.
Guests at the event can sample exquisite cuisine, taking a culinary tour of the globe – from Mexican quesadillas, Indian samosas and bhajis, Egyptian koftas and shwarma, American hot dogs, Japanese sushi, Austrian apfels and sacher tort and Belgian chocolates.
Entrance is €2 per person, with all proceeds going to the selected charities.
