Belfast prepares for Culture Night

Last update - Thursday, September 3, 2009, 13:30 By Metro Éireann

The first ever Belfast Culture Night will take place on Friday 25 September. The city’s Cathedral Quarter will be totally transformed as public areas and streets are turned into performance spaces offering free shows, events, talks and tours throughout the evening.

Perceived to be the creative and cultural hub of the city, people will be able to explore the Cathedral Quarter like never before.
Belfast Culture Night will take to the streets in every way, shape and form with an eclectic mix of taster tours that are guaranteed to suit everyone’s preference. From guerrilla lighting and historic tours to River Lagan boat tours and Belfast: City of Sin, it’s the ideal way to spend the weekend, with or without the family.
